End of session:
Right after the session, we take time for your skin to recover.

I apply on you a care, a foam based on natural products... (vegetable oils, essential oils...) which will allow your skin to calm down and your cells to rehydrate. Also after a few applications your skin should stop oozing (secretion of lymph) and if there is little bleeding.
I do not apply Vaseline and cellophane around your tattoo, because your tattoo before being a pattern is a wound, and gas exchanges take place between your skin and the air important to your healing. In addition, your tattoo will not macerate and will not disgorge pigments therefore: less touch-ups or even none at all!
What makes that you leave with a good base to start your healing.
ON RETURNING HOME
2 to 3 hours after having your tattoo done :
- Wash your tattoo with cold/lukewarm water (NOT HOT WATER!!) and mild soap, massaging it in with your hand. (Marseille soap, neutral pH, baby soap...)
- Dry it with a towel or a clean towel by dabbing it.
Next :
- Leave in the open air with a thin layer of cream/balm or Derma Tattoo foam, massaging your tattoo well to allow the product to penetrate. Perform this gesture 2 to 3 times a day for 1 to 2 weeks and then according to the needs of your skin...

- After these 3 weeks, you can moisturize your tattoo from time to time with your moisturizer
usual. It will only be more beautiful.

Recommended products:
- Tattoo balm or tattoo foam from Derma Tattoo (Natural, not tested on animals)
- Other balms and creams specialized in after-tattoo care.
- Coconut oil / coconut butter
- Kartie butter

To know :

During the three weeks of healing, your tattoo should not soak:
baths, swimming pool, sauna, hammam, beach, jacuzzi etc... are prohibited! And no prolonged exposure to the sun! Sorry !

Between five and ten days, you risk seeing "scabs" appear on your tattoo (if the care products are well applied, it will be more like peeling skin after a sunburn). DON'T PANIC.
Your tattoo does not go away, it is completely normal in the healing process. On the other hand, do not scratch, let your skin do its job, this so intelligent organ. So apply your care well and let them go naturally.
If it itches, that's normal, it's scarring. Don't scratch either! A gentle massage with the tattoo product can help relieve you.

If you wear a bandage or "paper towel" to protect your tattoo from rubbing while sleeping or during the day at work for the first few days, be sure to apply cream more regularly, always in a thin layer. I generally advise you to wear comfortable clothes, fluid materials, preferably elastic and not to wear bras and rather a bra for example if it is a tattoo on the chest.

The more your tattoo breathes, the better!

These tips apply to my practice and of course may differ from one tattoo artist to another.

Come back to have your tattoo checked:

Here it is, it's been 1 month: all the scabs are gone. You need to come back to me, so I can control the
healing of your tattoo. I often say that it's once your tattoo has healed that the tattoo is finished, and we tattoo artists are rarely lucky enough to be able to see our work really finished. Checking your tattoo allows us to see the evolution of our work, and it always makes us happy: to see a part of us that we left on your skin, to have your feedback after healing!
You should know that the good progress of the healing depends on three factors: how the tattoo was bitten, the nature of your skin and the care of your tattoo during these three weeks.
If touch-ups are needed, you will have to leave for three weeks of treatment.
Otherwise,
you can continue your life with this new companion… with a few additional precautions:
The more you take care of your skin, the less the tattoo will age.
Indeed, your tattoo changes with your skin: it thickens, lightens according to your skin and its aging.
The biggest enemy of your skin and your tattoo is the sun. Avoid it at
maximum throughout your life (for your health and for your tattoo) or wear sunscreen (index 50).
Moisturize your tattoo from time to time with your usual moisturizer, it will only be more beautiful.
EDITING INFO:

Touch-ups are not systematic and your tattoo artist will be able to assess his work and whether it is necessary or not.
At Dhermorium tattoo
In the first 2 months from the date of completion of your tattoo, touch-ups are free.
If your tattoo requires a second touch-up (which is exceptional), the session is charged 80 euros.

I can retouch tattoos that were not done at the "Dhermorium Tattoo" studio, however they are counted as a normal tattoo since the upstream work is not from Dhermorium Tattoo.
In this case I do on a case by case basis, we can discuss it.
And I advise you to see your tattoo artist again if your experience has been good with this one.
