Wound = Risk of infection
These infections can happen in two ways: either during the making of the tattoo (hygiene rules not respected by the tattoo artist), or after the making of the tattoo (the client does not take care of his tattoo).
The tattoo artist can contaminate his clients by cross-contamination if he does not follow a very strict hygiene protocol.
It is for this reason that, at “Dhermorium Tattoo”, we follow this protocol to the letter: the surface of the skin to be tattooed is cleaned/disinfected before this skin break-in, all equipment is single-use (or disinfected with regard to the tattoo machine), all work surfaces are fully disinfected between each client, etc. Without respecting these rules, there is a risk of transmission of diseases such as hepatitis or stafilococcus, among others.
-The tattooed person can favor an infection during the healing time if he does not also follow the hygiene rules recommended by his tattoo artist.

The list of rules
to follow before, during and after the session for complete asepsis during the act of tattooing:
– Hand washing and disinfection,
– Use of disposable gloves,
– Washing and disinfection of the skin to be tattooed,
– Use of single-use equipment (needles, nozzles, etc.),
– Disinfection of non-sterilizable equipment,
– Disinfection and protection of the work plan and its environment,
– Protection of work tools that could be touched during the act such as the lamp, the vaporizer..
– Protection and care of the tattoo
– Explanation of care to the client,
– Disinfection and decontamination of the workspace between each client,
When you leave the studio, this responsibility applies to you.
You must therefore:
– wash your tattoo with a mild soap once a day,
– Apply cream with clean hands,
– Do not put your tattoo in contact with dirty places (beach sand, dust…)
– Respect the advice of your tattoo artist.
All tattoo artists are required to follow a three-day hygiene training to be able to do his job.
During this training, the tattoo artist is informed of the hygiene protocol to follow when performing the act of tattooing (and piercing), and of the legislation in force on this point.
At Dhermorium Tattoo, all tattoo artists have this diploma.
