PREPARING BEFORE A TATTOO

My appointment is made at Dhermorium Tattoo, how should I prepare for this experience?

To be in shape :

During a tattoo session, your body will consume energy.

Nothing could be simpler than a good night's sleep.

Don't go to bed at 6 a.m.

Good energy, and the pain will be less felt.

No alcohol or substances that modify your state of being:

Consuming alcohol in the 24 hours before your tattoo is not a good idea, yes yes, even a small drink.

Also to consume illegal substances, drink coffee to the extreme. Because all this  will thin your blood, which will therefore cause a lot of touch-ups. Also, you will bleed during the session and labor will be more difficult for me.

Tattoos often rhyme with a healthy lifestyle.

Dress accordingly

Come with comfortable, black clothes. We don't look at your style on tattoo day, we just want you to be comfortable. Loose clothes are ideal, because if we tattoo your calf for example, you will be more comfortable than with too tight jeans which cut your blood during the session and which will also create friction on your tattoo when you go out. Black because there can be ink splatter during the session, and we tattoo artists know how difficult they are to remove these stains. That's why we are condemned to wear black pants, without color :(.

Eat well and stay hydrated

Do not skip meals, even if you are not hungry, and bring a snack with you to recharge the batteries during the session, because a tattoo will make you consume energy to act with the pain.  Remember to drink water too, a good daily intake of water will initially make your skin more beautiful and more supple, and then because it is important to stay hydrated. Our body feels good with good hydration.

Hydrate your skin

A week before the appointment, you can nourish/moisturize your skin with vegetable oils or a body cream so that it is supple and beautiful on the day of the appointment. May, on the other hand, do not moisturize it on the d-day, we will clean and disinfect your skin then use care products during the tattoo and we need your skin not to be saturated to facilitate: the application of the stencil and the tattoo.

Relax

Avoid any stress before your tattoo session, on the d-day there is always this little pressure that can be present when you arrive at the studio. Relax, and we will be able to accompany you before, during and after the session to ensure that this experience is a great experience.

With all these practical and easy-to-implement tips, you will be in the best conditions to manage your tattoo session!
